RSNAV Standalone Smartphone Interface System Software Updates

DO NOT UPDATE WITH WRONG RESOLUTION. IT WILL BREAK YOUR SYSTEM. CONTACT US IF YOU DO NOT KNOW WHAT RESOLUTION YOU HAVE. THIS IS THE FIRST SOFTWARE TO UPDATE BEFORE ANY OTHER UPDATE. 

Instruction

1. Download firmware file from the link below.
2. Unzip the zip archive to the root of a USB memory stick(Must be formatted in FAT32).
3. Insert USB memory stick to the USB port of the device while the device is powered on.
4. A Chinese message will appear. This is normal, and wait. It takes about 10 mins.
5. Do not interrupt until the device restarts automatically. Maintain electricity power by running your motor idle. Do not operate the device or the vehicle. After successful update, the device will boot up normally.

Update log 2018.03.16: the first update. Fixed phone call echo problem in CarPlay. Added support for wired screen mirroring for iPhone and Android smartphone. Improved stability. Fixed MCU to be updatable. Known problems: Not confirmed Android Auto running or not yet. 'CarLife' icon in the main menu is supposed to run Android Auto. Some menu and notification are still displayed in Chinese.

DO NOT UPDATE WITH CAR MODEL FIRMWARE. IT WILL BREAK YOUR SYSTEM. CONTACT US IF YOU HAVE A DOUBT.

Instruction

1. Download firmware file from the link.
2. Copy update.bin to the root of a USB Stick(Must be formatted in FAT32).
3. Insert USB memory stick to the USB port of the device after the device is completely booted. 
4. Once the unit is booted (e.g. you see the main menu), select the arrow/back icon on the top right. 
5. When a popup with Chinese writings and 2 options appears, choose the option on the left
6. If another pop-up appears, the USB key starts flashing (if there’s an LED - indicates writing firmware) and then it reboots. 
7. Remove the USB stick before it boots up normally to Media player, if not it will be in a loop of updating.
